My Xbox 360 died, before the extention of the warranties, it had nothing to do with how I treated it. Even if it did though, there is a certain amount of punishment a system should be able to take. Laptops and Game consoles should be tested for this type of thing before they are sold. I think this is part of the reason we are seeing no growth even though the X360 library is so much better than than the PS3. There are so many good games out but it's too expensive and people are afraid of buying it. I think they will adress it as "improved durability" of the 65nm version when it comes out and a price drop.
