I pretty much don't rent games anymore. I feel that demos provide a good enough taste to determine whether a game is worth buying or not. And for games that don't have demos, I'll watch a Let's Play or two. But I'm starting to stray off topic.
I know many people like game rentals. But PS Now will have to cost less than competing rental services. Sure, there's the convenience of instantly playing a game you choose to rent. Unfortunately, the latency, degraded image quality, and inconsistency of real-time streaming will make many games far less enjoyable than if you just rented a disc.
Also, I'm worried that PS Now spells the end of those rumors of the PS4 getting PS2 emulation...
