I consider piracy legit when I want to watch or play something but not willing to buy it. E.g if it wasnt available to pirate I wouldnt buy it anyway so im never a lost sale. which I think is the case majority of the time.
secondly and a bit more controversial, I thinks its semi ok if its available in another region but not out in yours for more than a month.
and lastly if something is old and not available in shops/online anymore.
moral of the story is companies will not lose money from me (stop wasting time trying to fight piracy).
