The disadvantages ps3 had are not the same as the ones Wii U have. So you can't actually compare the two to see where Wii U can pick up sales. Fact of the matter is most of Wii sales went to one time only buyers, and what we are seeing is Wii U returning to normal Nintendo home console sales levels. After 2 full years on the market PS3 was so far ahead in sales compared to Wii U now, there is just no comparison.
