If what you're saying is true (I don't know enough about it) and it's been reskinned as a Mario game then that'll be why it's coming west. Hence, my original point still stands (JP sales of Puzzles & Dragons Z did nothing to get it localized - it was other factors).

We don't even know who is localizing it yet. Nintendo had to localize Level-5's last game, despite it selling decently in Japan.
