Because, in this gen, we're being spoonfed trailers and vertical slices and told to "get hype" and "believe the hype" before a frame of gameplay is even shown. Games are now hyped to the fucking moon before we even know what they're about. Hype Uncharted, Zelda and Halo. Not unknown new IP that claims to do all this awesome shit and will take your life away(looking at you Destiny/Watch Dogs).
