If you come to think of it, the games you mentioned cost around $100 each. $60 for the game, and then $30 for the Season Pass, and maybe add $10 for extra content.

By simply avoiding 3, 4, maybe 5 games taht end up like Watch Dogs or AC:U you can finally purchase a Wii U.

Now, seriously, everyone talks about $300 as if it were a fortune.Underpowered or not the console is overall good, the online is free (and most of the time decent) and it has some great quality games. Not suitable for primary console but it's absolutely perfect as a secondary console. Sure, you can't just pull out $300 at any moment, but if you can't spare $300 in the long term (one, two years maybe?), you probably shouldn't be purchasing any videogames at all. Opportunity costs bitches (yay I actually learnt something useful other than math in school)
