And what's wrong with the second statement? There are worlds between the loading times of HDDs and SSDs.


I looked into this before I pieced together my new PC. I didn't find (and even online the general consensus is) the increase in price for an i7 anywhere near worth the small performance increase it provided.

As for SSD, it's a similar thing, yes loading times are faster, but that's not performance actually in game. Though I will be adding an SSD to my rig when Windows 10 releases to run the actual OS from.
