As much as I'm pleased with honorable 2nd place the Russian Army has been awarded by GFP, that's a load of poppycock. Not only the numbers are off, they don't take into account a lot of things, like battle readiness or operational tempo. Some nonsensical data like "available manpower". China beats us all in that department. Has anyone from GFP asked himself a question how much "available" is that, and how PCR is going to mobilize, supply and relocate that horde? Due to the nature of these aggregative ratings their practical use don't go too far from entertainment. Even if they've cited accurate numbers, that's still a "spherical horse in vacuum" situation.

At the same time I'm pretty sure Russian Army is well equipped for any military operation within, say, ~1000 km of its borders. Anything above that might be problematic due to lack of substantial military infrastructure abroad.
