With that said he isnt really wrong. Halo consistently sells 8m+ with mainline games. The other two that automatically comes to mind is Mario and Gran Turismo. The last three mario games are below 5m at this moment and Gran Turismo 6 is at 3m though im sure GT7 on PS4 will do better
Either way you look at it, Halo, Mario, and Gran Turismo is the three best selling franchises from the big three (home consoles) unless im missing something
@OP - THe Halo 5 beta has overwhelmingly great responses and has the ability of being the best in the franchise. It actually does the New/old mesh surprisingly stellar. Also the pre-orders are already doing great.
For the record, XBO doesnt need saving and im not sure how you came up with that conclusion.

He'd have to exclude the Wii too (so the DS, 3DS and Wii). Hence i said to him "You might want to rethink your use of the word "any" ^^".
On a side note, GT6 is heavily under-tracked here. I'd guess it's somewhere between 4 to 5 million right now (maybe 4.1/4.2?). Still a large drop from GT5, as you'd expect considering its launch conditions, but a smaller drop than VGC have it at.
