I love your outlook on Britain, and I agree that we have a great culture. Everywhere you go in the UK, you can find old and new buildings standing side-by-side.

Sure, Britain isn't the all-powerful nation it once was. But it still has one of the largest economies, has the 2nd largest military spending, and has made a huge impact on how the world is today, that's pretty amazing for a country so small.

Another thing I love about the UK is the huge renovation that is going into many of our urban centres. Of course there are problems, as there are in all countries.

There is one thing I'm particularly unhappy with, and that's the increasing amount of surveillance that is going on. The government is getting too involved in everyday life. This can't go on for much longer though, we're a democratic nation and we can still vote to change these types of issues.
At the next elections, even if the Conservatives don't win (though they most likely will), Labour will be forced to make a lot of changes to what they are currently doing.
