In terms of vehicular damage, I think GT5 might take a lesson from Motorstorm. GTHD is proven to just be a pimped out GT4//VERY early version of GT5. So you know it's not optimized for crap. The PS3 has to power to render a image much better than the 360 (graphically) and has enough power on the CPU to do physics based vehicular damage. (only the cell can do that) However were talking about a game most likely seen late 2008... if that.
But it's not just the damage GT will need to match, but the online as well. Forza 2, from what the've shown off so far, looks to have a killer online that goes above and beyond mere races and matches. Not to mention the massive range of options for customizing your car. I used to be a big fan of GT but was sorely disappointed with 4 when I realized that it's the exact same as 3, just with more cars. Forza 2 is doing allot of new and interesting stuff, while all I'm expecting from GT5 is better graphics and some damage. Unless GT5 has some major improvements over 4, then I'll be a Forza fan this gen. Of course I'll be playing Forza this spring while GT will hit in '08 if not later. Speaking of which, what the hell has happened to GT mobile?
