I'm a Nintendo guy and (at times) a Sony hater but I'm gonna go with Ratchet. Fox, for the most part, is pretty likeable but he's reall a non-character. He was just something tacked on to the origina Star Fox to make the game appear more kid friendly. _He's evolved over time but he's still just a vanilla generic character.
Ratchet has more personality and the world he lives in is more thought out. Not really familar with any of his feats but the guy seems like a better character and stars in better games (from what I hear--only played the first and didn't finish it) to me.
