I think he was refering to use it for emulation. The PSP is great for emulation, but I don't recommend it. Sony will ban you from the PSN network if your caught.
OT: I STRONGLY recommend Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles. It's a great remake of the classic Castlevania game Rondo of Blood, REALLY Addicting but sort of hard. And it even comes with the Original Rondo of Blood AND the All Time classic Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. And it comes with another game if you beat boss rush mode twice. So that's FOUR awesome games for the price of one! It's on PSN for $14.99 and I got it from Amazon.com for $12 bucks. That was two months ago though.

- Valkyria Chronicles II and III (3 is in Japanese though)

All the games I've mentioned (besides Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X) have gotten an 80 or more score on Metascore.com (MM:MHX got a 79
