CD Projekt Red has revealed the PC system requirements for The Witcher 3, due for release 19th May.
Plenty of time to upgrade between now and then, and free a bit of space on that hard-drive.
Minimum System Requirements
- Intel CPU Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz
- AMD CPU Phenom II X4 940
- Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 660
- AMD GPU Radeon HD 7870
- RAM 6GB
- OS 64-bit Windows 7 or 64-bit Windows 8 (8.1)
- Direct X 11
- HDD Space 40 GB
Recommended System Requirements
- Intel CPU Core i7 3770 3,4 GHz
- AMD CPU AMD FX-8350 4 GHz
- Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 770
- AMD GPU Radeon R9 290
- RAM 8GB
- OS 64-bit Windows 7 or 64-bit Windows 8 (8.1)
- Direct X 11
- HDD Space 40 GB
I'm surprised by the "low" recommended specs, but I don't know why they list a GTX770 and a R9 290 when the latter offers a lot more performance. Either a 285 or a 280X would have been better choices.
Please excuse my bad English.
Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070
