Given the global moderate overtrack this means both PS4 and Xb one are probably overtracked in the UK at least for December, with Xb one being slightly more overtracked than PS4. Either that, or ioi is estimating too many PS4's sold in the not-dirtectly-tracked markets and that things are generally fine in the UK, and either PS4 should be bumped or Xb one should drop a bit.

Interesting that Sony specifically said PS4 won Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Whoever won Black Friday probably won that week, but that doesn't quite gel with what MCV said, unless they meant Xb one won the 5 weeks leading up to BF.

Anyway, winning Nov/Dec combined means the gap grew in the holidays, making it even more difficult for Xb one to have a shot at becoming #1 in any territory other than the USA, and maybe it'll stay ahead in China if PS4 sales are generally at the same level as Xb one there.

the bf week, ps4+xb1 sold 240k units

xb1 being slightly ahead

so uk xb1 tracking until november is fine.
december could be anything form udertracked and overtracked.

the wrong ps4 numbers are probably from row and maybe mainland europa. uk is the best tracking by vgc after japan
ps4 in the us was overtracked by 100k before november npd
