Has a precedent been set for this to ever happen? I mean a major console just pulling out of a major country like that?
Microsoft has made little effort past year in Japan and it shows, but hard to blame them. Say they did spend millions and managed to sell 100K this year, is that a better situation for them? They clearly are focusing on their strong markets and giving minimal effort to weak ones, a smart short term, but not so sure long term strategy.
