The Fox Engine is the reason why we havent seen anything from Kojimas team after MGS4 because thats what they worked on but looking at the earlier uses it clearly shows kojimas work is paying off. Just look at the face comparisons of fifa 15 vs konamis pro evolution soccer 2015 which uses the fox engine
The foxengine has tools that allow you to photograph anything, humans, animals or objects like stones and tovels. MGS 5 allready looks better that most next gen game and its basicly a last gen game. Yet it runs @1080p in 60 frames on the ps4 like a simple last gen port unlike other games.Its completly amazing how this engine runs and could easily blow unreal engine 4 out in the water.
Unreal engine 4 has maybe some better physics and visuals but the stuff they showed they needed 3 graphicscards in SLI to perform these fantastic teasers/trailers while average games look nothing special. Its seems to me the fox engine is better optimized here for consoles.
