How did you find use for Varric again at the end of the game weapnwise?  Was there another version of Bianca?


The final upgrades and a master demon or dragon gem brought the bow up to a decent dps.  That coupled with the high crit chance the upgrades gave (60something percent) made him usable.  I also turned off the caltrops thing as I noticed the AI tends to use that too often.  My playthrough was on hard.  I probably wouldn't have kept him in at all on nightmare.


I did something similar except when I switched to Sera I never went back. You can get his bow up to great DPS but it's to much trouble to go search for all this stuff. On top of that Tempest is just amazing and Sera was doing insane damage she was keeping up with my Reaver.
