| Intrinsic said: its getting really hard to take you seriously these days. the PS4 is already at around 1M in Japan with just 10 months over there. and not a single major Japanese centric game has been released yet. and so far on the ps4 more Jrpgs have been announced to be coming to the ps4 already than there were jrpgs released on the ps3 in 7 years. I feel the ps4 will at the very least do 8M in Japan, though I have it pegged to just edge out the PS3 in sales. |
I think you have to much faith in the future of Japanese console gaming. Why is there this weird conseption that games made in japan will somehow make consoles successful there. Those games will do better than western games, definitely, but they won't be turning the consoles around. The console market is dead over there and none of those Japanese-made games will change that. Not for any console.
