Well they aren't really done with the generation yet, fact is that they released a mainline Pokemon title every year since 2012 (if one of them is a remake really doesn't matter all that much, since people buy them just as much as the new games anyway) and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised, if there's one in 2015 as well. It's extremely difficult to make a case denying that Nintendo is massively flooding the market and milking the Pokemon IP.

Also great how it's always "Nintendo should do this or that with Pokemon" but now this is suddenly all on Game Freak as if Nintendo has no say in the matter.

They can have a say, but they choose not to. Gamefreak/Pokemon company is the one that doesn't want the main series to also be on home consoles.
Also, cod, fifa, ac (shame) ect say afternoon.
Good on battlefield for taking it's time and being great.
