super punch out was a classic and felt like a huge step up in almost every category. i feel like the noise that it makes when you punch someone in that game is very satisfying and i never had any problems being able to tell what was going on lol. i like punch out for wii a whole lot, but it feels more like a remake than an actual next gen punchout that it should have been. it was very disappointing to me. i think their ONE new character was a riot and hilarious. i wish we could have saw more of that. every other character was a remake of the first game. its disappointng. you have to admit that more original characters would have made the game way more enjoyable.

I would love more new characters, but I wouldnt want to leave out anyone that was in it. If they make a new one, then sure. It was more of a reboot than a remake imo. Super Punch-Out!! was like the arcade games. Ive tried them and they are horrible. Never been a fan of the wire frame thing. It gets in the way of what the opponents are doing.

if i had it my way, little mac wouldnt have been wire frame.. but super punch out was an actual evolution. i wanted to see the same kind of evolution in the wii version :(. BUT, they did nail the most important aspects: the gameplay mechanics. which is why i cant see giving this game lower than a high 8. 8.7/8.8. it deserves a score of at least that high. i just feel like its really lacking when you consider the character roster and lack of innovative game modes.
