As the 8th gen has shown us, Nintendo are very much as the whims of the market as a whole. Their lack of relevance to the mainstream home console market, as well as the rapid growth of smart phones have resulted in some of their worst financial results in decades. |
MS might be out of it after another gen or so. They are losing money on the Xbox brand, I can't imagine a company as huge as they are to continue to waste even if it's peanuts.
