if ps4 gets the call of duty marketing deal with activision (it's been rumored, and kind of makes sense) then i can see the ps4 sales being much higher

I would love for that to happen but I don't think it will. COD has long been a Microsoft tie-in and Destiny being an Activision/Sony tie-in evens things out. Has there ever been a tie-in that has jumped ship to another console? Was Assassin's Creed originally promoted for PS3??

Most of the Assassin's Creeds were marketed, and had exclusive content for PS3; then Unity happened. Tomb Raider was a long standing PlayStation franchise, and then ROTTR, controversy and all, happened. GTA was timed exclusive on PS2, Microsoft marketed GTA IV, and now Sony has V. Sony also had Monster Hunter up until 3. Nintendo has the franchise on lockdown now. Franchises do change hands, but I don't see CoD changing any time soon.
