If Sony Pictures (should be called "Films" DUH!") got hacked then other parts of Sony can get hacked too. Imagine other departments that usually loose money get hacked, the impact would be negative and may be reflected in even more losses.
Or if the Sony Insurance(where they get most of money from these days) in Japan gets hacked for long enough then the profits may go down or even worse, move into a minus for possibly the first ever time would significantly impact Sony as a whole. And millions or thousands of Japanese people.
