Last time I got gas it was down to 96 cents a liter (Canada) (was near 1.50 before)

That can't be good for the economy. Revenues from exporting the expensive to mine oil sands are down. The environment will suffer most as budget cuts will be made. Alternative energy solutions will also be put on hold as they are much less competitive now.

The Canadian dollar is down to 85 cents to the American dollar, a couple of years ago it was worth more. So for us it already means $70 games and a $50 price hike on the ps4.
It works both ways though. Export will be up (apart from our expensive oil obviously), especially in combination with cheaper transport costs.

This says it much better than I can

Bad for oil exporting countries/provinces, bad for the environment, good for everyone else.

canada and the us are fucked, they heavyly invested in oil, and the oilprice is down an will stay there for a while. but its not bad for clean energie, clean energie and oil arent competing so it doesnt matter.
