If you want flying ice cream cones, keychains, swords- XY is your game.
If you want Fire breathing chickens, moon dogs, and sun rocks- ORAS is your game.
My preference, I've played XY and was extremely underwhelmed, get ORAS. Better music, story, and areas. If you want to be caught up with Pokemon, I'd get XY though.
