I don't think it's Sony fault to be honest. For instance, I've noticed that on sites like N4Gs many Vita articles and games never get 'approved' and so just slide away unoticed. I've also noticed that my local shops are doing nothing to promote the Vita with ASDA dedicating just ONE shelf with FIVE games to it. The early perception of 'no games' has done long term damange to the Vita but thankfully the media couldn't doo the same to the PS4. |
Sony could definitely do more, I mean where's the proper support that the PSP used to get? I agree there are many classics on it, theres always something for me to play on mine, even if most of my vita library is due to PS+ but i want major franchises like GTA alongside all the indies, i bought the handheld for the bigger games, so its just kinda disappointing how its after thought. Also, i think say Vita is far more of a digital platform than traditional handhelds, so the memory cards don't help it much
And I agree shops and media should also do more.
About that, do you think there is still a lot of anti-playstation bias out there? I thought that went soon after the PS3 slim came out. I still believe that the success of the PS4 can help the Vita do alot better in the long run though
