Last time I checked the main complaint of ISS was that it lacked much content and the content it had was quite boring and unimaginative. The subpar quality of the story was to be expected and also doesn't count as much in open world games. From what I've seen so far from The Order are the same problems as with ISS. Solid gameplay, pretty graphics, not much to do beyond that. The problem of The Order is that it doesn't have the benifit of being an open world game and as such will be rated worse. Its bonus will probably be its uniques setting and probably a solid if not great plot. That will save it from dropping too much below 80. |
I knew I forgot something about Second Son. It's been a while since I played it.
If The Order ends up getting in the high 70s or better, I'll be surprised and more than satisified. The previews before PSX didn't give me any hope that it would amount to any more than a pretty but shallow game. Also, I still don't think it has enough hype for it to be considered overhyped
