I really, REALLY don't think the new zelda will be that big. That's not the sense I got from watching it. The scope (in space and height/width scale is much bigger) in XCX.

Hmm agreed.  And while I take Miyamoto's words with a grain of salt("We put Twilight Princess' entire Hyrule in one area"), if they prove true, the game will be far more massive than any Zelda to date.  Add to it that it's the first HD Zelda, though I'm not sure if that matters.
