1. Metroid Prime
Not much that can be said about it. Atmosphere, challenge, enemy varieties, weapons, exploration, Samus doing what she does best. It's been too long since i played it, but i've been trying to dig into neglected games in my collection, so i've been picking games at random out of my collection when i have nothing to play. Last year i picked: Super Mario Galaxy, No More Heroes 2, StarFox 64, Super Mario World, Wario Land II, Bomberman 64, and Yoshi's Story. So perhaps one day i'll get back to the best game ever, but it'll rely on a roll of the dice.
