as someone who worked for a r&d company(i took care of rats and helped killing and cutting em), yes regulation is a pain in the ass, but it is needed. i worked there 2 years while in college, and we just tested 2 pills, one of those would have killed a lot of people if we just tested a bit and not all the things the they wanted us to test.
and we need more regulation,and the criminalisation of some tactics. its not okay if you tell cancer patients that they should take some fake pills because chemicals are evil. Homeopathy is booming, the snakeoil salesman are winning...
and the lobbyst have to go. its not cool if you can buy regulations by bribing(donating) politicians.
