The only thing that seems straight up copied from the competitor this generation is the motion controls. Right around the time it was announced and was getting a lot of positive news suddenly the sixaxis was announced. I do remember a lot of developers saying they had never heard of that function before.
Between generations companies rip each other off all the time, and that is a good thing. Creating an amalgamation of all the best features of old competitors and making a new device is a great idea for consumers as well as for buisnesses. Copying is just part of doing buisness, and it only helps the end consumer.
