I played some more today. Picked up a message delivery mission, same as trade anyway. Other missions all seem to be about smuggling, slave trading or hitman contracts. Nothing interesting to me.
I died once (I left it going in a direction, was dead when I got back, no clue what happened) You have the option to respawn at the last station. No costs associated to death so far. (I have nothing invested in my ship though)
Did some trading between systems following trade routes. Got up to 4,300 credits so far, long way to go to the next ship...(50K) Now I'm stuck with a load of computer parts, followed the trade route from an exporting to an importing system and they'll only pay 70% of what I bought them for. Broken economy? Frigging useless that you can't see what another system pays for goods before going there. I jumped to another importing system, and it turned out to be the system I started the game at lol. Infinite universe, ended up going in a circle. I turned it off, bored.
