Stereotypes exist for a reason, I think you're confusing me with saying all gamers are/were like that. Stereotypes are niche for sure but there are those that fit the bill.
My question and purpose for topic is, how many of these stereotypes are out there these days, because back in the day a lot of gamers really did look like how I depict them to look.
