So take Monolith Soft and out of the equation, who would you get to develop Xenosaga episode IV?

Right on. I knew she wasn't an employee, I just figured she collaborates and is part of the process. How could she not be being married to the head of the studio.

I will agree though that it would work, and the actual people at Monolith Soft are not involved though. It'd also be a good workaround to get ideas off of Takahashi.
