Dont be too butt hurt. Sonic Runners was actually leaked by a Beta Tester for Sonic Boom. The tester is being taken as credible as he was able reveal cutscenes that involved that involved Shadow and Metal Sonic and the mess of game Boom is waay before release. He said there will be a multi console Sonic game that will be a sequel to the movie due next year. SEGA accidentally revealed that themselves last year.

Sequel to a movie tie in doesn't sound that good, just saying... and I enjoyed most sonics out there. 

I dont think its that great either, just depends on the movie. One good thing though it wont be bottlenecked. What I mean by that is the spiderman game was also a sequel to its movie, but the developers were not allowed to use any enemies planned for future movies, so robots and lizard clones were main badies..Lame. As long as movie doesn't hinder the game I wont have a problem.
