It was always obvious, but certain people were way too quick to lay the blame on Chinese government and absolve MS of all responsibility, it seemed like a bad idea to get involved in a debate.

Well.... I was one of those people who laid the blame on the government >_<

When I saw that Sony will sell the PS4 and Vita region-free in China, I was really surprised because I assumed Sony also had no choice, but to conform to China's policies. Apparently, I was dreadfully wrong and realized that MS likely enforced the activision code DRM in their own free will...
