Console games are like $100 here and I can find second hand games for $15. I'm pretty sure you guys can get it for way less than $40.

I literally bought the Uncharted trilogy for $40.

I was specifying newer games like Cod:AW and Shadow of Morder which right now can be bought second hand for around $40 even sometimes $30. Your statement is spot on though and helps to show just how much console games decrease in price after a while .
