Expect only reduced costs.
Slim probably only on 2016 or the earliest holidays 2015.
Upgrading the power could alienate current owners even more or make people not invested yet think that maybe in another 1-2years another revision will make their consoles useless. Consoles aren't iPads so that would be to risk.
