And this is why I had to game on 360 last gen (PS1 and PS2 fan before). I'm not rich, and can't afford to own all three consoles so I have to pick between the two. This generation, I decided to go with PS4 because the PS3 has better games imo. I figured that yeah, PSN probably wasn't going to be as good as XBL but, I'll just deal with it for the privilege of having better games to play. 

That ended last night.

I think it's sad that the console industry has gotten to the point where the internet is so vital to ones experience but here we are. Not being able to play my PS4 for a little while due to an attack, ok... I can understand that. But shutting the whole damn thing down for this long? I STILL can't log in to PSN. Their website still says offline. Meanwhile, I was online playing Xbox 360 last night without issue and MS website said online gameplay was working. 

I don't know how MS does it. Maybe they have smarter I.T. guys. Maybe it's the way they built their servers. All I know is they're clearly superior as keeping their online service up and running and that's now, unfortunately, pretty damn important... amost vital.

I guess I'm going to have to get an Xbone instead... *sigh*. It would be cool if we could have the hardware and games of PS4 with a service like XBL. I guess we can't have it all.

Xbox live was today also down, for them having view x1 services and xbox 360 getting back online ealier is not so impressive. Espaicllay since ps4 costs 10€ less and ps3 psn is for free. Xbox live wasnt hacked in the past and now they are just like psn, both ms and sony should step up their game but least as a ps3 owner i have not to pay for online and never have.
