While Activision and Blizzard are part of the same company, neither Activision or Blizzard makes decisions on what the other does. They are treated as seperate entitities.
I never played Skylanders but its pretty well regarded. So I'll give them that.
Raven made some decent games, but they didn't make outstanding games. They don't just work on DLC by the way, they did multiplayer for CoD: Ghosts and CoD AW. So they play a pretty significant role right now.

The thing is Activision isn't on the stock market, it's Activision Blizzard that you buy shares for which does include both parts.
