Game #7: Dragon's Dogma
It's hard to explain why this game became so special in my heart. I never expected to love it so much, despite its glaring flaws. Tedious backtracking, lack of lore info, annoying escort NPC missions...and yet, the superb ending, the pawn system and the gameplay, made from a japanese company trying to imitate western RPGs was awesome.
I've replayed this game so many times, and yet it still amazes me. I'm currently trying to speedrun it properly (the game even gives you the tools for it) and squeeze every single drop of love I can from it before I get bored. Which, given the current circumstances, will never happen. Dragon's Dogma is a flawed gem, but one I'll always hold dear.
