Two of my PS3 consoles died within 1 week. Not even funny anymore.

I am not 100% sure on this but with playstation plus subscribtion you can upload your files in your cloud and then just copy the files to the new console i think. So if you want being save you should try this out if you want to spent some money or just use the free trial.
