The actual size in terms of square miles, I can already tell you yes. Skyrim is around 12 square miles. Xenoblade Chronicles X is larger than that, I can pretty much guarantee that. But there are other areas where things will likely be different. Skyrim had lots of caves and ruins and so on. Xenoblade probably won't have as many of these.
