Well, you actually don't need to do anything with the BIOS and the BIOS has been around since the beginning of PC! For a normal user, they rarely need to access the Bios unless they want to install a new OS or overclock their PC (as well as some other tasks that a normal user wouldn't do). If you aren't a power user, PC gaming has gotten easier than ever imo and its quite easy to find helpful stuff in the community forums if something doesn't work. When it comes to steam, all you have to do in 99% of cases is just right click and install and done! You can start playing the game asap (after the download finishes obviously)

And of course, if your PC gets a virus, quit clicking on those "Hawt girl wants to fuck you" ads that popup and you generally need to get an anti-virus but the thing with that is... Everyone has a PC and you cant get a virus from playing games so if you are getting a virus on ur Gaming PC, you probably gotten a virus on ur non gaming PC anyway. It is very hard to get a virus unless your doing something like torrenting or going to porn websites (and some other websites) and clicking on links that you shouldn't be clicking on!

i see i see, so thats a Bios, also now that we are talking about this how hard is it to actually get a Controller to work on a PC, and i mean like working wirelessly, i know there are some games that are compatible (or at least thats what ive heard) but what about the other games that arent? i know there are ways to make those controllers work but how hard is it to get them working?

im thinking of getting a capable gaming PC in the future so i wanna clear some doubts.

Well, if you buy a game on most places like steam, it will tell you whether or not it has controller support or partial controller support or no controller support! In terms of actually connecting a wireless controller, it depends on the controller really. Some controllers such as the the wii mote and DS3/DS4 work via bluetooth so if u have an adapter for it, you can pair up them quite easily and get some programs can will configure them fairly easily. There are tons of youtube videos saying how to do it. Or if you buy controllers from like the 360 controller or third party controllers like Logitech or Razor, they usually come with a dongle and its plug and play!

At its worst, Youtube/Google, at its best, Plug and Play
