If you ask me, it's only PS1 nostalgia that has FF7 placed in such high regard. (And this is from a guy who loves the PS1)

Knowing this site and all the proxy voting, it's safe to say it has very little to do with opinion.

You mean people making alts to bump up their preference? 

That too now that you mention it. But i meant the big audience that still hates FF7 and the proxy voting. Precentages here never represent what you see on the gaming market.
