I've been a Nintendo gamer for more than 20 years. Pretty sure that's legit.
Though as someone else pointed out, owning all the consoles or having played for x number of years doesn't make you a truer fan than someone else. If you play and enjoy Nintendo's games and hardware, then you can call yourself a Nintendo fan.
