Relax, almost everyone I know who has played this game wants to know what happens, where or how you came up this notion that the ending was desgined for the  imagination and the imagination only is beyond me. Bottom line is you're in the minority, people want to see what happens, people want to see a newer version of the ellie and joel story, and the ending of the last of us allows that to happen.

It doesn't matter if they want to know what happens and ND has already stated that they are more than happy with how the story turned out because there is nothing more tell. ND told the story that ND wanted to tell and that's that. Minority does not mean wrong, I agree with Spemanig that Joel and Ellies stories should be done since the ending leaves more good questions than there could be good answers. I don't agree that TLoU sequel will be a slap in the face to the first one because ND should have new characters and with new characters comes new adventure and a whole new storyline set in the same world as TLoU.

I can't see ND recycling more content than they need to. They will offer a whole new storyline with brand new characters in a different state, hopefully.
