In Ireland only women can collect childrens allowance. A payment made to families no matter how wealthy of more than 100 euros per child per month.
Further, slow burn is a legal protection only for women and has successfully been used as a defense to murder ( usually of a husband). In one case, the wife hammered her husbands head in ( literally with a hammer about 50 swipes), and was downgraded to man slaughter as they stated that he was verbally abusive and she just exploded this once. But apparently its a medical thing and only happens to women. If a man had carried out this attack on his wife, however.... Let's just say a man has never been successful with the slow burn defense and if he is, it won't be as often as for women. It's a gender specific defense.
